WELLS GAME SUMMARY 01/13/15 YORK 55 WELLS 52 OVERTIME
Despite starting the game with an 8 point run, the Lady Wildcats found themselves battling into overtime to defeat the upset minded Warriors of Wells. On a night that began with two girls unable to play because of sickness, one more went down with an injury and two others fouled out. It was a true team victory as sophomores Morgan Chapman and Lily Posternak combined with juniors Shannon Todd and Erin Posternak (Both with 4 fouls), and Suzanne Donovan in overtime to pull out the win. Morgan scored 5 of the teams 7 points in overtime to help secure the win including 3/4 from the foul line. Unfortunately we lost Captain Paige McElwain, our point guard, for the forseeable future with a concussion suffered late in the game.
