YORK HOLIDAY INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT 12/26-27
The 6th Annual Wildcat Holiday Invitational Tournament featuring teams from Hanover, New Hampshire, Spaulding High School, New Hampshire, Pentucket, Massachusetts, and York provided some entertaining and often closely fought games. York defeated Hanover while Pentucket defeated Spaulding setting up a championship game between the two. Pentucket won a close game 64-56. Chloe Smedley, Shannon Todd, and Mia Briggs scored well in both games. Shannon and Chloe were named to the All-Sportsmanship Team as well.

The Lady Wildcats ran out to an early 23-8 point first quarter lead and never looked back as they overran a young and inexperienced Traip Team. 11 different Wildcats scored led by Shannon Todd with 18, Mia Briggs with 15, Paige McElwain with 13, and Chloe Smedley with 12. Allie Lawlor and Sophie Remmick, called up from the JV Team chipped in with 9 and 3 points, respectively. The next big test will be at Falmouth on Tuesday.
